Application of WF Series in Aircraft Fuel Tank Caps

Problems Encountered:

Traditional aircraft fuel tank port cover sealing used rubber gasket, vulcanised rubber for sealing, but the rubber ring and vulcanised rubber have the defects of non-aging resistance, cumbersome construction, high density, poor reusability, etc., which will increase additional man-hours and material costs in the production, operation, maintenance and other aspects.

Solution:

Replace the rubber gaskets and vulcanised adhesive with LightSeal^® WF series sealing materials in each fuel tank port cover of the aircraft.
