Application of DSF700 in the Pharmaceutical Industry

Problems Encountered:

Pharmaceutical manufacturer was using a brand of ePTFE sealing gasket and found that it was not sealing well. In addition, the excess adhesive used on the gasket tape was decomposing at operating temperatures and leaching into the media during the process, creating a contamination problem for applications with high purity media requirements.

Solution:

The customer contacted us to evaluate the compatibility of DSF700 ePTFE sealing gaskets. Extensive laboratory testing of current ePTFE sealing gaskets and our DSF700 ePTFE sealing gasket showed that our ePTFE material posed no risk of contamination to the customer's product. We are one of the few gasket manufacturers in China that can provide gaskets that meet national food safety tests. In addition, DSF700 exhibits excellent sealing performance, which is a significant improvement over previous gaskets.
